Antonio Conte ‘won’t stay’ at Tottenham after source’s reveal – pundit
Frank McAvennie wouldn’t be surprised if Antonio Conte quits Tottenham at the end of the season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker said that if Daniel Levy doesn’t keep the promises he has made to Conte he won’t hesitate to abandon ship.
On 12 February, sources told this site that the capture of Clement Lenglet on a permanent deal is tied to Conte’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The defender is said to be earning £204,000-per-week at parent club Barcelona and Spurs are unlikely to offer him an equivalent deal.
Conte was key to luring the 27-year-old to London and now his future at Tottenham is in doubt.
The Italian has reportedly halted contract talks with the Lilywhites in order to focus on their fight for Champions League qualification which was dealt a blow following a 1-0 defeat to AC Milan on Tuesday (14 February).
When asked if Conte could quit at the end of the season, McAvennie told Football Insider: “I think so.
“I think when Conte says something he will do it and if somebody says something to him he will want it done.

“[Jose] Mourinho never got anything off Levy even though the promise was made. I think if Conte has got a problem with Levy he will not stay.
“I think Conte could move if the promises aren’t met, there is no two ways about it. A lot of players might want to leave because they are there for Conte. Some players are there just for the manager.“
