Arsenal and Man City fans will love what’s been said about target with ‘three exceptional abilities you can’t learn’

Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola are both pursuing one star in the transfer market, who has received high praise for his performances this season.

Arsenal and Man City are locked in a Premier League title race with just four points separating the two sides at the top of the table.

Gabriel Martinelli rescued a point as Arsenal drew 1-1 against Man City earlier in the season, with their next meeting not until April next year.

Both clubs were active in the summer transfer market, and Arteta and Guardiola are already planning on bolstering their squads in the next window.

Nathaniel Brown is ‘simply exceptional’

Arsenal and Man City have been linked with left-back Nathaniel Brown, who has been valued at £52million by Eintracht Frankfurt, and their Sporting Director Markus Krosche has now explained why the Bundesliga club want that figure.

As per Bild, [17 November], Krosche said: “Yes! Because he has three exceptional abilities that you can’t learn.

“He’s smart and tactically astute, has great technique, and is very fast. And all of that is necessary to have a great career ahead of him.

Now is the wrong time to think about who might leave us and when. They’re [Can Uzun and Brown] both young and should stay with us a while longer.

Can has developed superbly compared to last year. It’s a shame he’s injured now. And Nene [Brown] is simply exceptional. He’s made outstanding progress, especially when it comes to defending at a high level. Just look at how he plays against top opponents in the Champions League.

Do either club need Brown?

Arsenal look to be settled in the left-back area this season, with Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly occupying the position to great effect.

Man City have had greater issues in the area, but the recent emergence of Nico O’Reilly, whose performances earned him an England call up, looked to have put those concerns behind Guardiola.

Guardiola may be planning on pushing O’Reilly back into midfield, or it might be to add greater depth in the role to plan for any injuries.
