Arsenal are ‘not in a good place’ as Kroenkes shredded after £489.7m reveal – Campbell
Kevin Campbell has pointed the finger at the Kroenkes after the net spend of Arsenal over the past decade was revealed.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners striker claimed the club is “not in a good place” and said the owners “have to take ownership of it.”
The CIES Football Observatory published (7 February) the net spend of all clubs in Europe big-five leagues.

Arsenal ranked fifth on the list with a net spend of £489.7million from the 2012-13 campaign to the present.
The north London club have spent more than European giants Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, as well as fellow Premier League clubs Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of the numbers, Campbell said: “There has to be balance in this.
“The money has been spent but when you look at what Arsenal have, it’s not much. They’ve had to spend money to get players out! That’s not right.
“It’s the Kroenkes’ football club at the end of the day so they have to take ownership of that. They employ people to do the job correctly and the people they have employed have not done the job properly.

“The fact of the matter is, Arsenal are not in a good place. Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta have had to battle with a squad that has not been good enough.
“The Kroenkes have to take ownership of that.”
In other news, a pundit has predicted Arsenal could hand a free agent a short-term deal amid rival interest.
