Arsenal could lose Kieran Tierney in ‘cheap’ deal after £50m update – pundit
Real Madrid will be getting a “steal” if they manage to sign Arsenal star Kieran Tierney for £50million this summer.
That’s according to former West Ham and Celtic hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Scotland international’s future.
On Sunday (27 March), The Sunday Post reported Real Madrid are readying a £50million bid for Tierney, 24.

It is claimed Carlo Ancelotti has revived interest in the defender following a glowing report from Real’s chief scout, Juni Calafat.
McAvennie insists Tierney is good enough to play for Real Madrid and suggested a fee of £50million would be a cheap deal.
“Tierney has always been capable of playing at the top, top level,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He can play anywhere he wants, I’ve always said that. He’s such a good boy, he always trains, he always works.
“When I saw him for Celtic I thought he could go on to play wherever he wants so these links are no shock to me.
“He’s never let anyone down at Arsenal, they gave him that chance to get better.
“He’s reaping the benefits of playing with Arsenal and he’s being pushed to improve even more.
“£50million is cheap, it would be a steal if Real Madrid could get him for that and as a player, that is a big move to turn down.”

Tierney has made 22 appearances in the Premier League this season.
He’s scored one goal and chipped in with three assists.
