Arsenal ‘expected’ to lose to Liverpool after new development – expert
Tottenham will return to winning ways against Brighton – and Arsenal will lose to Liverpool this weekend.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham travel to the AMEX on the back of their first loss of the season, against Arsenal last weekend (1 October).
Spurs also played in midweek, failing to score in a 0-0 draw with Frankfurt on what proved to be a frustrating night for Antonio Conte’s men.
However, Wenham is certain Spurs will win by hitting Brighton on the counter, despite complaints from opposition fans.
He also expects Liverpool to win at Emirates Stadium following their convincing 2-0 Champions League win over Rangers, in which Mohamed Salah got back on the scoresheet.
“We won at Brighton last year by inviting pressure on, we basically let them have the ball and then we broke with Kane and Son,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I expect this game will go exactly the same. We will hear people, probably Arsenal fans, after the game, saying that we play bad football or whatever.
“We will probably go to Brighton and they will have 75% or 80% possession at home, as they like to do but we will beat them on the break.
“It’s the end of a big week and I am fully expecting Arsenal to drop points against Liverpool as well. Salah is back scoring again, which is huge for them.”

Brighton have enjoyed a strong start to the season as they sit 4th in the table ahead of Saturday’s clash.
They most recently drew 3-3 with Liverpool (1 October).
In other news, this is the real reason Yves Bissouma has been frozen out at Tottenham.
