Arsenal fans rip into Oleksandr Zinchenko as his statistics from Aston Villa loss emerge

Arsenal fans have torn into Oleksandr Zinchenko after the club fell to a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday (14 April).

Villa attackers Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins both scored within the last 10 minutes to secure all three points at the Emirates.

The victory leaves Unai Emery’s side fourth in the Premier League table, with the Gunners sitting in second place.

Mikel Arteta handed Zinchenko a start at left-back at the Emirates Stadium, with the 27-year-old withdrawn for Eddie Nketiah a few minutes from the final whistle.

The home supporters were in shock as Bailey and Watkins fired past David Raya within three minutes of each other.

And Arsenal fans have reserved plenty of their criticism for Zinchenko, taking to social media to slam the left-back.

Such criticism may be justified, with the left-back losing four of his five duels and losing possession of the ball 13 times.
