Arsenal fans have torn into Ben White after his performance in the 2-1 pre-season defeat to Liverpool as he struggled to cope with Fabio Carvalho.
Mikel Arteta’s side suffered their first defeat of the season at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, with White one of their worst performers on the day.
The defender seemed to lose concentration during the game and looked as if he was playing at 50 per cent, struggling to cope with Carvalho.
A sequence of fouls against the 21-year-old, and several overly aggressive challenges throughout the game, led to widespread criticism from not just Liverpool fans but also Arsenal supporters.
His display was labelled “concerning” and “a disgrace” as he struggled to impress, with worries over his displays beginning to increase.

The return of Jurien Timber from injury and the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori have led some to suggest White could lose his place.
Timber’s only competitive appearance for the Gunners came as a left-back, but with Calafiori’s arrival in that role, he will likely be challenging White for the right-back spot.
His display against Liverpool left fans concerned, and with the season set to begin in just over two weeks, they expressed those concerns via social media.
