Arsenal news: Campbell fumes over Premier League ‘agenda’ after controversy analysed
Kevin Campbell fears there is an “agenda” against Arsenal after a number of “laughable” decisions from officials.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Highbury favourite said the officials’ calls in Saturday’s win over Brentford left “a lot to be desired.”
The Gunners had numerous penalty shouts turned down in a 2-1 win at the Emirates on Saturday.
Ex-Premier League referee and Football Insider contributor Keith Hackett claimed (21 February) Alexandre Lacazette and Cedric Soares should have been awarded penalties in the clash.
There was also two dubious offside calls in the game, both of which went the way of the visitors.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of the officials performance, Campbell said: “I have discussed this before.
“Look at what is going on – it’s not right. The decisions that have gone against Arsenal are laughable. If the same thing happened in another game it’s a different story. We saw that over the weekend.
“I understand fans get on the bandwagon about there being an agenda against Arsenal but honestly, Arsenal fans have a point. You just have to look at the decisions that went against us on Saturday.

“Let’s be honest, some teams get them and some don’t. We are not getting a break at the moment.
“I’m pleased that we beat Brentford but these decisions leave a lot to be desired in my opinion.”
