Arsenal ready to accept Kieran Tierney offer – sources
Arsenal are willing to sell defender Kieran Tierney at a loss this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The north London giants previously wanted to recoup the £25million fee they paid Celtic to sign the Scotland international in 2019.
But sources say an offer of around £12-15million up front could now be enough to agree a deal with the Premier League club for a player who is in his peak years.
The 27-year-old has spent the past season on loan at Real Sociedad after losing his place in Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal are now ready to cash in on the left-back despite his contract at the Emirates running until 2026.
Arsenal could offload Kieran Tierney as Celtic ponder move
Football Insider first revealed in March that Arteta was looking to offload Tierney this summer to boost his transfer kitty for potential new arrivals.
The Scotsman’s time in north London has been relatively mixed after losing his place over the past couple of seasons, having previously been a first-team regular.
Although Tierney has been hampered by injuries this season, he’s made 26 appearances for Real Sociedad, 17 of which have come as a starter.
Arsenal are now willing to offload the left-back once the transfer window reopens after he’s played 124 games for the club over the past five years.

Football Insider revealed on 7 June that Tierney would “love” to return to Celtic this summer, with the Glasgow giants keen to strike a deal to sign him.
But sources have told Football Insider the Scottish champions are unlikely to be able to afford a permanent deal, while his “huge” wages could make a loan complicated.
