Medical expert: Kieran Tierney’s season could be over after ‘devastating’ Arsenal source reveal
Kieran Tierney may not play again this season in what will come as a “devestating” blow for Arsenal.
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
The 24-year-old Scotland star has returned from international duty with a knee injury and is set to see a specialist later this week.

An Arsenal source told Football Insider today (5 April) that they fear the left-back’s injury could rule him out for the rest of the season.
Dinnery claims that the signs do not look good for the former Celtic man.
“It doesn’t bode well when you seek a second opinion from a specialist,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“That’s an indication of the severity of the problem. Arteta wasn’t able to give a definitive answer when asked whether he might play again this season.
“That suggests that the second opinion is in the hope that there is still an opportunity for him to come back.
“But if they say the same as the first specialist, that might be it.
“After last night’s performance, you can tell he really carries that team and lifts others around him.
“They aren’t blessed with a lot of strenght in depth. Nuno Tavares has had a couple of indifferent performances at left-back and hasn’t convinced.
“It would be devastating because you need your best players if you’re going to push for those top four places.”

Tierney was absent as the Gunners were thumped 3-0 at Cyrstal Palace last night (4 April) in a blow to their Champions League qualification hopes.
The defender, who has recently been linked with a shock move to Real Madrid, has one goal and three assists in 25 appearances this term.
