Arsenal tipped to sign Youri Tielemans in £35m deal after confirmed news – pundit
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Arsenal to complete a “perfect” deal for Youri Tielemans after he placed on record his desire to play Champions League football.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 24-year-old could partner Thomas Partey in the Gunners’ midfield.
Speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws (25 March), Tielemans confirmed he wants to play in the Champions League and suggested he is ready to make the move to a “European top club” in order to further his career.

Arsenal are in the box seat to secure qualification for Europe’s premier competition.
The fourth-place club lead rivals Tottenham by three points and also have a game in hand on Antonio Conte’s men.
Agbonlahor suggested the FA Cup winner has what it takes to replace Granit Xhaka at Arsenal.
“It’s a position where Arsenal really need to strengthen,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“When you look at Xhaka – he’s done ok, but he’s not going to get Arsenal to where they want to go.
“In the other spot, Partey has come on really well but he’s now got to show consistency.
“They’re really in need of one more midfielder to partner Partey and Tielemans can be that perfect player.
“He’s got the quality, and he’d be very well suited to that Arsenal side, for me.”
The Sun claimed last month (10 February) that Leicester have reduced their asking price for Tielemans to £35million.
The Belgian has just over one year remaining on his current deal at the King Power Stadium.

Tielemans has made 22 Premier League appearances this term, scoring six and assisting twice.
The former Monaco man joined Leicester in 2019 for a reported fee of around £40million.
