Arsenal fans have called on the club to make a move for Mohammed Kudus after a fresh update on his future emerged.

Arsenal are expected to strengthen their attacking options in the summer after struggling with squad depth due to injuries throughout the season to key players such as Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.

Mohammed Kudus, currently at West Ham, is a name that continues to be linked with an exit and has long been on Arsenal’s radar.

Former Manchester City financial expert Stefan Borson recently claimed that West Ham could be open to selling Kudus if a club triggers his £90 million release clause, in an effort to balance their books and meet profit and sustainability regulations.

Football Insider revealed back in November that Arsenal are still monitoring Kudus closely, with a view to potentially acting on their long-term interest.

Now, a fresh update from a journalist has fuelled further speculation, suggesting that the Gunners could soon be in the mix to secure his signature.

Alex Crook of talkSPORT has reported that Arsenal are showing “fresh interest” in Kudus ahead of the upcoming transfer window [talksport.com].

Crook added that West Ham are open to selling the Ghana international to raise funds, though it remains “unlikely” that Arsenal will trigger his release clause, despite their long-standing admiration.

Football Insider also revealed that Arsenal have sent scouts to monitor Kudus but are holding off on any concrete move until they “see more” from the versatile forward before making a final decision.

The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 and, despite flashes of quality, has struggled to consistently meet expectations this season in a difficult season.

However, he has been a regular in the side this season, starting all 29 matches he’s played in the Premier League and contributing four goals and three assists.

Kudus has been deployed across multiple roles for the Hammers — operating on both wings, as an attacking midfielder, and even leading the line as a centre-forward.
