Aston Villa could pull off Malik Tillman signing – ‘he’s one to watch’
Aston Villa could pull off signing PSV Eindhoven star Malik Tillman in the January transfer window to bolster their attacking options.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes he’s “one to watch” within the game.
Villa are looking to improve their squad in January as Unai Emery looks to push the team to secure Champions League football for a consecutive season.
The 22-year-old has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 19 appearances for PSV Eindhoven this season which has caught the attention of Emery and his scouts.
Aston Villa could sign Malik Tillman by using their scouting network
“They’ve got a very, very good scouting network,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“Tillman’s a good player.
“We’re seeing a lot this season of players that play well in the Champions League, two or three games.
“Then all of a sudden, because of the social media, because of the press, they’re immediately linked with moves to the Premier League.
“Is he as good as what Villa have got? Is he going to take him on to the next level?
“I’m not sure he is.

“If he plays at another level with better players he’ll get better as well.
“He’s one to watch.”
