Aston Villa expert suggests when Harry Maguire will be joining after source’s update
Alan Hutton has suggested Harry Maguire could join Aston Villa in the summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Villa right-back said Maguire would fit in under Unai Emery but needs to focus on playing regularly before he completes a move.
On 9 January, Football Insider revealed that the 29-year-old is staying at Old Trafford this month after they rejected interest from the Birmingham club.

The centre-back had been spotted at a restaurant near Villa’s Bodymoor Heath training ground last weekend and speculation grew that he would be joining the Midlands club.
Unai Emery’s side did enquire about Maguire‘s availability but United insisted he would be staying in Manchester this month.
Hutton suggested the door remains open for a potential deal in the summer.
“I feel for Harry Maguire,” he told Football Insider.
“He is obviously a really good player, he showed that in the World Cup. It has just not quite worked for him recently at Man United.
“He is still a great player he just needs to get back to doing what he does best and playing regularly. I think if that was to come up in the summer I do not see why it would not be a good fit.

“Aston Villa are a club going places, they are going to invest, they have got a good manager. I think it would be a good fit.
“But for him personally it is all about getting minutes on the pitch, getting back to what he does best.“
