Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers responds to Ezri Konsa’s England message
Morgan Rogers has responded to a message shared by Ezri Konsa after the Aston Villa duo played their part in England’s win over Andorra.
The Three Lions were unconvincing in their 1-0 win over the minnows on Saturday, 7 June, but comfortably sit five points clear at the top of their World Cup qualifying group.
Konsa helped England maintain a clean sheet in Barcelona, whereas Rogers lacked his usual attacking sparkle.
The Villa duo will hope to feature in the Three Lions’ friendly meeting with Senegal at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground on Tuesday, 10 June.

Konsa could nail down England spot ahead of World Cup
Like the majority of his Three Lions teammates, Konsa was far from his best as Thomas Tuchel’s men beat Andorra, and will look to make a better account of himself against Senegal on Tuesday.

But the Aston Villa man has every chance of remaining an England regular through to next summer’s World Cup, after enjoying a successful season in the West Midlands.
Konsa has proven he is a reliable asset for both club and country, while fellow centre-back and Manchester United man Harry Maguire no longer appears to be in the international fold.
Meanwhile, England stalwart John Stones has not featured for the Three Lions since October, further enhancing Konsa’s chances of a starting berth in Tuchel’s side.
Stones could leave Manchester City amid Everton interest, whereas Konsa appears set to continue shining for Villa in the years to come.
