Aston Villa player ratings v Leeds: Fringe man stars in 8/10 display

Forwards

Albert Adomah – 6: Considering he has been in such a rich vein of form this was a surprisingly uneventful outing for Adomah. He was on the periphery for much of the first half and the second half also brought him little joy.

Robert Snodgrass – 5: A quiet first half saw him have a minimal impact on proceedings, other than a couple of deliveries which failed to find a team mate. Despite his experience, he was naive up front at times, caught offside from a simple free kick at the 50 minute mark.

Keinan Davis – 6: Trying to lead the line without much service was always going to be a tough ask, and he really had less than scraps to feed off. Perhaps should have been dropping deeper to have an impact in the first half, he caused a little menace in the second 45 minutes, but Leeds stood relatively resolute.
