Jack Grealish – 8: The game changer. Obviously with a point to prove, he was the catalyst needed for Steve Bruce’s side to take it to the next level and grab an equaliser. Impressive in both his passing and movement on and off the ball, he changed the tempo and drove Villa forward to great effect. Will no doubt be hoping for more first team action in the near future.
Henri Lansbury – 7: Had done very little until hitting Villa’s equaliser, which was a inch-perfect hit from the former Nottingham Forest man. Like Grealish, his arrival had a real impact on the way which Villa pushed forward and it was a great move from the manager.
Ahmed Elmohamady – N/A: Was only given the minutes in added time.
