Aston Villa plot sensational Jack Grealish move after Man City reveal – sources
Aston Villa are plotting a sensational bid to re-sign Manchester City ace Jack Grealish in the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The 28-year-old is the most likely of City’s superstar players to leave the club this summer, with Pep Guardiola not completely convinced by him following a mixed campaign.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that the reigning Premier League champions are willing to listen to offers for Grealish.
If the opportunity arises, sources say Villa would jump at the chance to make a move for their former captain, who remains a huge fans favourite at Villa Park.
The move would see Grealish likely regain his status as the club’s talisman, a step up from his role as a rotational player under Guardiola.

Grealish has featured in just 20 of City’s 36 Premier League games so far this season, with only ten of those appearances coming from the start.
Just three goals and one assist in that time have seen his numbers drop well below those of his teammates.
That lack of game time is partly due to injury issues, but while he started both quarter-final clashes in the Champions League and the FA Cup semi-final, he has been used less in league matches and has just 1,001 Premier League minutes in total this season.
Having come through the academy at Villa Park, Grealish made 213 appearances before joining Man City in a £100million deal in 2021.
A return at this stage would cost considerably less than that price and would see Villa make a net profit as a result.
Aside from his connection with the club, he would also provide experience at the top level, having won two Premier League titles and an FA Cup trophy – both of which he could win again this season – as well as a Champions League trophy as a key part of the treble-winning squad.
