Aston Villa set sights on signing Crysencio Summerville – sources
Aston Villa are keeping close tabs on Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville, sources have told Football Insider.
Summerville is expected to leave Elland Road this summer if the Whites fail to secure an immediate return to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old goal-machine is valued at more than £30million after scooping up the Championship Player of the Year award on 14 April.
Villa have been scouting the much-coveted Dutch winger heavily this season as they ponder a move for him this summer.
Aston Villa could act on interest in Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville
Football Insider previously revealed that Summerville is one of four Leeds stars that are expected to gain interest from Premier League clubs.
The tricky winger has received significantly more attention than his teammates after registering 20 goals and 10 assists in 44 appearances this season.
The Dutchman’s two strikes in the Whites’ 4-3 victory over Middlesbrough on 22 April helped lift his side back into the Championship automatic promotion places.
Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Elland Road chiefs are looking to tie him down to a new deal.

That is only likely to happen if Daniel Farke’s side gain promotion this season, with the club just one point ahead of third-placed Ipswich Town, who still have a game in hand on them.
Villa will be hoping the West Yorkshire outfit fail in their attempts to go straight back up, potentially providing a boost to their chances of landing Summerville.
Unai Emery’s side are a highly attractive proposition at this moment in time as Champions League football is a realistic possibility at Villa Park next season.
