Aston Villa will unveil their new kit manufacturer deal with Adidas this week after qualifying for the Champions League, sources have told Football Insider.
The Birmingham-based club notified Castore earlier this year that they will be ending their partnership at the end of the season, with Villa set to strike a multi-year deal with the German sportswear company from 2024-25 onwards.
Unai Emery’s side confirmed their qualification to the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history after Tottenham lost 2-0 to Manchester City on Tuesday evening.
Following their entry to Europe’s most prestigious club competition, Villa are ready to announce their deal with Adidas this week.
Aston Villa ready to unveil £17m agreement this week
As revealed by Football Insider, Villa’s Adidas deal will be worth around £17million per season while the club is competing in Europe.
It marks a huge increase on their previous Castore deal which was worth just £4million per year to the club.
Villa’s new kit agreement is set to be the seventh most lucrative deal in the Premier League behind the ‘big six’ and Newcastle United.

Villa share links to Adidas through their co-owner Nassef Sawiris, who reportedly owns a six percent stake in the sportswear company.
It is understood that the club opened talks over a new kit manufacturer deal after receiving multiple complaints from players about the quality of their current 2023-24 Castore kit.
