'Unbelievable, how could you?' - Aston Villa ex-senior scout fumes over completed deal
Aston Villa have made a big mistake by bringing Alejandro Garnacho to the club this summer.
That is the opinion of former senior Villa scout, Bryan King, speaking exclusively to Football Insider.
The 22-year-old has arrived on loan from Chelsea with an obligation to buy, of which the conditions are reportedly easily achievable.
Villa will pay a fee in the region of £40million for Garnacho in total, with Unai Emery said to have been the driving force behind the deal.
Morgan Rogers has gone the other way in a separate deal, with Chelsea agreeing a fee worth a club-record £117m.
Garnacho scored just one Premier League goal in 24 appearances last season and has been a hugely controversial signing at Villa Park.

Chelsea's £40m move for Garnacho last summer was considering outlandish by many.
The winger had plenty of well-reported off-field issues at Manchester United, and had left a lot to be desired on it.
But Chelsea saw a young, talented player who could be transformed if the right manager was able to get into his ear.
It says a lot about their success in that plan they have been willing to part ways with it just a year later, but the unbelievable aspect is that Villa have given them their money back.
"How can you get rid of [Morgan] Rogers and [Youri] Tielemans and bring him in? For me, he was a problem at United. He was a problem at Chelsea," King told Football Insider.
"Is he going to be any different at Villa? I read somewhere that he was desperate to go to Villa. I would presume because no one else was in for him."
He added: "They made about £138m, £140m on those two [Tielemans and Rogers], which is great. But then how do you replace them? He's gone out and got Garnacho.
"You talk about body language. Well, I don't like his at all. An overpaid footballer he is."
Can Unai Emery save Garnacho's career?
Emery is said to have been interested in Garnacho for some time now, and would have liked to have signed him last summer.
The Spaniard clearly believes that he can be the man to extract the very best out of the winger, who does possess talent.
Garnacho's breakthrough saw him score 10 goals and provide five assists across all competitions for Man United, and he remains a young player.
However, Emery does not appear to be a manager willing to take any type of dissent. Should the Argentine step out of line, his Villa career may well end as quickly as it started.
