This is the astonishing league position Mark Lawrenson has Tottenham in after predictions
By Harvey Byrne
Mark Lawrenson’s predictions have seen Tottenham place in an astonishing sixth position in the Premier League table after 33 matches.
The BBC pundit offers his thoughts on the upcoming weekend matches ahead of each game week.
This weekend Spurs are set to face fierce rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane and Lawrenson has predicted a 1-1 draw.
However, overall he has often predicted Tottenham to receive a lesser result than what they end up with in reality.
The former Liverpool defender has Spurs placed a whole four positions lower than what they are doing in real life while the north London club are just two points worse off in his table than they are in reality.

This is due to the 59-year-old looking favourably upon his former club Liverpool, who he has yet to predict a loss for this season.
Meanwhile, he has also predicted just two losses for each of Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal this season, who all also sit above Tottenham in his prediction table.
Spurs fans will definitely be doubting the credibility of Lawrenson’s predictions after this, but they will also be glad that he has got them way off the mark as the team sit four points off top of the league Chelsea with five matches left.
In other Tottenham news, Michael Owen has also predicted Spurs’ clash with Arsenal.
