Celtic player ratings v Motherwell: Attacker 3/10 after horror show

MIDFIELD

Callum McGregor – 5: Mainstay of the side was playing in an unfamiliar position on the left, and didn’t exactly cover himself in glory, it was a bit of a surprise that he played the entire game and wasn’t subbed

Scott Brown – 7: Involved in a controversial incident which saw Cedric Kipre sent-off, put the incident to one side and tried to drive the Hoops forward for the winning goal which didn’t come

Olivier Ntcham – 5: Started the game well but seemed to fade after picking up a booking in the first-half, wasn’t has influential as he was at Ibrox and it wasn’t that much of a surprise that he was substituted

Tom Rogic – 8: Undeniably the best player on the park for the Hoops, was constantly probing and looking for space and efforts on goal, unlucky to be denied twice by Trevor Carson saves

James Forrest – 6: Quiet start to the game but came more into the match and was denied by a good Trevor Carson save, not at his very best and was eventually substituted in the second-half
