The 26-year-old winger is in the best form of his career, and his displaced the likes of Scott Sinclair and Patrick Roberts to become the Hoops’ biggest attacking threat.
His 16 goals so far this season are by far the best return he has ever had in a season, when previously he had never scored double figures in a season.
Forrest has been a different player since Brendan Rodgers became Hoops manager, and the player of the year award would be a fitting tribute to a player who has been proving people wrong ever since he first pulled on the green and white hoops.
