His leadership skills were there for all to see when he dragged a ten man Hoops side to a 3-2 win over Rangers at Ibrox.
The 32-year-old recently announced his retirement from international football, which can only be a good thing for the Hoops going forward.
The Bhoys are nowhere near as strong a side when Brown isn’t in the side, and the player of the year award would be fitting for a great season.
