Barcelona now in pole position to sign Harry Kane in January amid Bayern Munich exit development
Harry Kane continues to be linked away from Bayern Munich after an incredible start to the 2025-26 campaign.
To date, the striker has netted 19 goals in 15 Bundesliga matches, as he hunts his second German top-flight title.
As a result, multiple clubs have been eyeing Kane, including Barcelona.
Now, the Catalan club may get their transfer wish, with the bookies putting them in pole position to sign the England international.
Barcelona 8/1 to sign Harry Kane
Barcelona have been linked with Kane for some time.
The Spanish giants could soon be in need of a new number nine, with Robert Lewandowski’s contract up in the summer.
Therefore, despite Kane being linked with a potential return to Tottenham, Barcelona could soon make a move for the striker.
One bookmaker has now even made the Catalan side the favourites to sign the England international before the January transfer window shuts, at 8/1.
Following this, Tottenham and Man United remain in the running at both 14/1 and 16/1.

PSG and Man City are also not ruled out of the race, with the two European giants both placed at 18/1 to sign Kane.
Kane remains keen to stay at Bayern Munich
Despite rumours surrounding the striker, Kane appears to be keen to stay at Bayern Munich for the forseeable future.
The striker is in sensational form and will be hoping to get his hands on the Champions League trophy before the World Cup starts this summer.
As a result, there have been talks that a potential new contract could be on the table for the England captain, with his current deal set to expire in 2027.
- Kane has scored 30 goals in 25 games in all competitions so far this season as he continues his fine form
- This includes five in the Champions League in just six appearances
- As a result, plenty of teams are eyeing a potential move for Kane as his contract nears expiry
However, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has confirmed via GOAL on 7 January that talks over a new deal are yet to get underway.
He said: “We will certainly speak to each other at the appropriate and right time.
“We have great trust in the process and in Harry.”
