‘Beginning of a long story’ – 20-year-old drops huge hint about Celtic future
Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has perhaps given a clue to his future with the club after he posted a cryptic comment on Instagram.
The 20-year-old Frenchman, who is set to return to PSG as his loan deal as end, wrote on his personal Instagram account that this season was the ‘beginning of a long story’ for him.
“Thank you for this wonderful season to spend with you guys and all fans. The beginning of a long story” he said.

The forward, who missed the cup final win over Motherwell with a hamstring injury, has been a big hit in his first season in Glasgow, scoring 11 goals including three against Rangers.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed, as reported by the Herald, that talks are underway with the player’s agent about making the loan deal a permanent one.
Football Insider verdict
Fans will be delighted with Edouard’s comments, as without reading too much into them, it looks as if the player has admitted that he has a future in Glasgow. He was very impressive in his time in Glasgow, his two goals against Rangers in the 5-0 win which clinched the league title being a particular highlight, and he deserves the chance of leading the line in Europe next season. It could be argued that the hitman was on his way to becoming the first choice striker at the Hoops before his injury struck, and it will be interesting to see if he will get more game time next season, should he sign on a permanent deal for the Bhoys. He has done very well for a young player in his first season abroad, and if he continues in this upwards trajectory he will only get better and better as he gets more experienced and if he signs he could be a huge player for years to come for the Bhoys.
