Bernardo Silva: Man City may be set for ‘huge loss’ after transfer reveal – pundit
It would be a “huge loss” for Man City if Bernardo Silva decided he wanted to quit the club in the summer, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker backed Silva to stay at Man City beyond the summer and claimed he is happy at the club.
The dazzling attacker told the Times last Friday (4 March) that he will sit down with the club at the end of the season to decide whether he wants to stay, leave or even sign a new contract.

He is tied down to a long-term deal with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Bernardo also explained he asked to leave Man City last summer (2021) as he was unhappy being away from his family in England amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The speculation over his future last year has had little impact on his form as his 37 appearances across all competitions this term have yielded 10 goals and four assists.
“I think it would be a huge loss if he was to leave,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“But I don’t see him leaving, to be honest. He looks happy at the club, he’s playing his best football in a Man City shirt.
“I don’t see him leaving, he looks too happy.”

Bernardo has scored 45 goals and provided 48 assists in 238 games across all competitions for Man City since his move from Monaco in the summer of 2017.
He has won every domestic competition with Pep Guardiola’s side and started the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League final last season.
