Beto sends message to Orel Mangala after devastating Everton blow
Beto has dedicated his brace against Leicester City to his fellow Everton teammate Orel Mangala in a new social media post.
Abdoulaye Doucoure kickstarted the game in impressive fashion with a goal in the first minute, and that was followed by a brace from Beto and a goal by Iliman Ndiaye to round out the result.
It marked the third consecutive victory for Everton under David Moyes which has helped the club pull away from the relegation zone.
Everton climbed above Tottenham into 15th in the Premier League with that victory as they now sit just one point behind West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
Moyes’ side will be back in Premier League action on Wednesday (12 February) in a crucial Merseyside derby against Liverpool.
Beto dedicates his goals to his Everton teammate
The 27-year-old striker had only scored once in the Premier League prior to this game, and he took to Instagram to celebrate the situation.
Beto said, “No caption needed. For you tonton @j_mangala8.”
Mangala’s season came to an end after he suffered a severe anterior cruciate ligament injury during Everton’s win against Brighton on Saturday (25 January), which is why Beto showed his respect to the midfielder.

The 26-year-old is set to for a lengthy period on the sidelines and won’t play again this season.
