‘Big signings’ to arrive at Leeds United ‘soon’ after multiple updates – expert
Leeds United can now make “big” signings with Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha set to leave the club.
That’s according to ex-Whites stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about how his former side can improve following the departures of Phillips and Raphinha.
Phillips, 26, is set to sign for Man City for a fee worth £45million plus £5million of add-ons.

Raphinha also looks set to leave Elland Road in the near future with Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona fighting it out for his signature.
Fabrizio Romano claimed on 29 June that Chelsea and Leeds have agreed a fee between £60million and £65million for the winger.
Kenny claims Leeds have to make signings that will excite the fans with the money they make from the sales of both players.
“Big signings? They have got to,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They only just stayed in the Premier League last year, not investing very nearly cost them.
“They should have got a striker in. They have to get some big signings in soon. That can bring a buzz back to the city.
“It will get Leeds fans excited for next season. Players not coming in and players going, it could be a slow start for them if they don’t invest quickly.”

Raphinha scored 11 goals and chipped in with three assists during the 2021-22 Premier League season.
Phillips made 20 Premier League appearances during the same campaign after suffering with an injury throughout most of the season.
