Bruno Fernandes: Man United close in on ‘massive’ deal – sources

Man United are offering Bruno Fernandes a new four-year contract, sources have told Football Insider.

The 29-year-old is keen to stay at Old Trafford, and all parties are hopeful of securing an agreement to secure his future.

Talks between the player and club are already advanced and a full agreement is close on what source say will be a “massive” new deal.

The Portugal international’s current deal has two years left to run, and there is a further option for a 12-month extension.

Football Insider revealed that Bayern Munich had been interested in Fernandes earlier this summer, but a deal was never close.

The United captain is believed to be keen for the club’s new owners to match his ambitions moving forward.
