Bruno Fernandes reacts to Viktor Gyokeres’ message amid Man United links
Sporting Lisbon’s Victor Gyokeres’ latest social media message has caught the attention of Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, amid the Red Devils’ interest in the Swedish international.
Gyokeres helped Sporting to their second piece of silverware this season, as they beat Benfica 3-1 after extra time to win the Toca de Portugal (Portugal Cup).
After his side fell behind just after half-time, the 26-year-old equalised from the penalty spot in the 10th minute of injury time, and the Lisbon-based side went on to lift the trophy.
Sporting also secured the Portuguese league title earlier this month, with Gyokeres scoring an incredible 39 goals in 33 appearances along the way.

Gyokeres set for the Premier League
After his latest success, Gyokeres took to social media to celebrate winning the league and cup double.
On Instagram, the forward posted a video of himself walking down the tunnel, with the Toca de Portugal over his shoulder, adding the caption: “Walk it like I talk it.”
Gyokeres has been linked with Man United for some time now, and Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes liked the post, further fuelling rumours that the Swede could be on his way to Old Trafford.
However, Ruben Amorim’s side face competition to secure the signature of the former Coventry goalscorer, with Arsenal also in the race for Gyokeres.

Football Insider Verdict
Despite having a £85million release clause in his contract, Sporting are willing to accept offers of £60million for Gyokeres, with Old Trafford or the Emirates the most likely destinations for the forward.
It was believed that the Swedish striker was more likely to choose United, but after their Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, they cannot offer Champions League football.
Of course, Amorim worked with the attacker while he was at Sporting, but the current state of the Red Devils could dissuade Gyokeres from making the move to Manchester.
With Arsenal unlikely to prise Alexander Isak away from Newcastle, the Portuguese league top scorer is next on their shortlist.
