But now he’s back, returning to action after 17 months for the club’s Under-21s in their heavy 4-1 EFL trophy defeat to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday (November 12).
The timing of his comeback is impeccable, Malacia will have the opportunity to impress new manager Ruben Amorim after so long on the sidelines.
