Bryan Mbeumo reacts as Man United send message to England Lionesses
Bryan Mbeumo has responded as the Man United players show their support for the England women ahead of their crucial Euro 2025 clash.
The Red Devils are preparing for their final set of pre-season games before the start of their Premier League campaign against Arsenal on 17 August.
Ruben Amorim’s side will feature in the Premier League Summer Series, first taking on Graham Potter’s West Ham.
Set to make his Man United debut, Cameroon international should be guaranteed to feature in the United States.
The former Brentford man swapped London for Manchester, joining for a deal worth up to £71million [Sky Sports].
Mbeumo contributed 27 times in 38 appearances for the Bees last season and will be looking to hit the ground running on his debut for the club.
The women’s team will be kicking off their season against PSV later in August, as they seek to qualify for the Champions League.
Midfielder Ella Toone is currently in Switzerland with the England national team as they look to defend their Euro crown on 27 July.

Man United England stars spur on the Lionesses
In a post on Instagram (26 July), English members of Amorim’s side sent their regards to the England female team ahead of their final against Spain.
The post, captioned “We’re all behind you! Bring it home on Sunday”, ex-Chelsea academy product Mason Mount said: “Just want to wish the Lionesses a massive good luck for Sunday’s game.
“Go and win it, go and do your best, but most importantly, enjoy it.”
England international Harry Maguire, who has frequently competed on the international stage, added: “You’ve [the Lionesses] have been amazing so far.
“Just one more step and go and do it.”
United’s new signing from Brentford Bryan Mbeumo liked the post as the players wish the Lionesses the very best.
Spain to pose strong threat to England
Football Insider verdict
Having stuttered throughout the European Championships, England face world champions Spain in the final in Switzerland.
La Roja have been outstanding this tournament, remaining undefeated and playing with real confidence from back to front.
With two Balon d’Or winners in their ranks in Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas, the Lionesses should fear the red and yellow’s attacking threat.
The biggest wait and see for England fans will be if Sarina Wiegman finally rings the much-needed changes.

Both Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang have saved the team from elimination in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, contributing with goals and assists.
On the left flank, Man City’s Lauren Hemp has been woeful and should be clearly dropped for the superb Kelly.
Chelsea’s Lauren James’ knock could open up an opportunity for someone to come in, who that will be remains to be seen.
Yet, what many England fans have found is that just like Sir Gareth Southgate, Wiegman has her fervent favourites.
Sticking to out-of-form favourites may be the undoing of the Lionesses and may prevent them from retaining their Euro title.
