Bryan Mbeumo responds after Brentford ace ruled out for season
Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo sent a message of support to one of his Brentford teammates who has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Cameroonian has been in immense form for the Bees this season, scoring 18 goals and assisting six more.
Most recently, the winger put Brighton to the sword, scoring twice and assisting once in Brentford’s 4-2 win on 19 April.
The 25-year-old’s exceptional performances have led to Man United becoming interested in signing Mbeumo.
With just a year remaining on his current deal, Brentford may be forced to cash in on their talismanic winger, for fear of losing him on a free transfer in 2027.

Vitaly Janelt will miss remainder of 2024/25 season
Having suffered an issue with his heel throughout the season, Vitaly Janelt has undergone surgery on the issue, Brentford announced.
As part of their statement on the German midfielder’s surgery, the club stated: “As part of his recovery, Janelt will not feature again this season, with the aim of returning to full fitness early next term.”
Following the announcement, Mbeumo shared an image of his teammate on his Instagram story with two love-heart emojis.

Man United, Newcastle, Arsenal chasing deal for Bryan Mbeumo
Alongside United, Arsenal are also interested in signing Mbeumo as they look to strengthen their injury-ridden front line.
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz have all missed large chunks of the season with injuries.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are willing to meet Brentford’s asking price for Mbeumo, Mick Brown revealed exclusively to Football Insider.

Given his contract status, Mbeumo will be a hot commodity this summer, with some of England’s top clubs looking to secure a cut-price deal for the ex-Troyes winger.
However, Brentford will be hoping to secure their star man to a new contract this summer as they look to make a European push next year.
