Burnley transfer news: Scott Twine undergoing Bristol City medical today after deal agreed – sources
Burnley midfielder Scott Twine is having a medical at Bristol City today ahead of a permanent move, sources have told Football Insider.
Twine spent the first half of the season on loan at Hull, but the deal is set to be cancelled to allow him to make the move to Bristol City.
The 24-year-old is well down the pecking order at Burnley and they are happy to let him leave just 18 months after joining in the summer of 2022.

The move will see Twine reunite with former MK Dons boss Liam Manning at Bristol City.
He has made 26 appearances across all competitions for Hull in the 2023-24 campaign, notching four goals and three assists.
The midfielder has proved a versatile option for the Tigers, playing in an attacking midfield role as well as on both flanks.
Twine will be unable to take part in any prospective FA Cup fourth-round clash after turning out for Hull against Birmingham earlier this month.
He made 18 appearances last season as Burnley gained promotion to the Premier League, notching three goals and one assist.
The most fruitful spell of his career came at MK Dons under Manning, where he notched 20 goals and 13 assists in 45 League One appearances in the 2021-22 campaign.
Twine has also had spells at Swindon Town, Waterford and Newport County.

Bristol City sit 14th in the Championship table but are just four points adrift of a play-off berth.
Manning’s side, who were beaten 2-0 by Preston last time out (13 January), are next in action on Tuesday (16 January) for their FA Cup third-round replay against West Ham.
