Celtic £5m Adam Idah offer to be accepted – sources
Celtic are keen to sign on-loan Norwich City striker Adam Idah permanently this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
It has been widely reported that the Canaries will accept offers around £5million for the 23-year-old.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Celtic are ready to submit a summer bid for the Republic of Ireland forward.
Idah has not been a regular feature in Brendan Rodgers’ starting line-up since joining on loan in January but has nonetheless been an impressive addition.
He has made 15 appearances for the Hoops, notching seven goals and two assists.
The Cork-born ace has started in just six of those outings.
Celtic want permanent Idah deal this summer
According to FotMob, Idah has averaged 1.25 goals per 90 minutes and leads the Scottish Premiership in several finishing metrics this season.
He signed a fresh contract at Championship club Norwich just last year (2023) which runs until June 2028.
The forward had scored seven goals in 34 games in the first half of this season but was not starting regularly for David Wagner’s side.

Idah is set to play a key role in the Scottish Premiership title race, with Celtic currently leading Rangers by three points with three league games left to play.
Rodgers’ side also face their Old Firm rivals in the Scottish Cup final later this month.
