Celtic ‘could have a problem’ after Cameron Carter-Vickers injury latest – pundit
Alan Hutton has claimed Cameron Carter-Vickers’ absence “could be a problem” for Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers and Scotland right-back said Carter-Vickers, 24, “has been a rock and a foundation at the back to build from.”
The Hoops lost 2-0 to St Mirren on 18 September in the absence of the injured centre-back.

Carter-Vickers has withdrawn from the USA international squad for their last round of games before the World Cup because of the issue.
As quoted by The Celtic Way (18 September), Ange Postecoglou revealed he hopes the defender “won’t be too far away” after the international break.
The Bhoys welcome Motherwell to Parkhead on Saturday (1 October).
When asked by Football Insider how big a miss Carter-Vickers would be if sidelined this weekend and beyond, Hutton said: “Look, he has been brilliant since he joined.
“We saw what he was capable of on loan and he has gone from strength to strength since getting the permanent move. He has been a rock and a foundation at the back to build from.

“I think [Stephen] Welsh is a good player. He is still young and is still learning.
“If they are missing Carter-Vickers for a period of time it would be a problem. He is the dominant centre-half in their team. It could be a problem for Ange Postecoglou moving forward.”
