Celtic could offload striker amid Alex Collado transfer report – pundit
Alan Hutton has suggested Celtic will look to offload Albian Ajeti before making anymore offensive signings.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers defender suggested defensive midfield is the only position that needs strengthening at Parkhead.
As quoted by Football Scotland (28 July), Postecoglou said that the club will “see what happens” with Ajeti as he expects more outgoings before the end of the window.

The Switzerland international has been left out of the first two of the Glasgow club’s Scottish Premiership matchday squads.
Ajeti currently has two years left on his contract at Parkhead.
According to Football Scotland (10 August), reports of Celtic interest in Barcelona attacker Alex Collado are wide of the mark.
When asked by Football Insider anyone could leave Celtic to facilitate further additions this month, Hutton told:
“It’s a difficult one to just pinpoint one person but I think if you look at their attacking options, the likes of Ajeti.
“Maybe the manager feels there is space to bring somebody in. I do believe Celtic have a lot of options up there. Is It a place they really need to strengthen? I do not think so, in the midfield I think they’re very strong.
“They could do with cover in the defensive midfield but I think Ange Postecoglou knows best.“

Ajeti made 17 appearances for Celtic across all competitions in the 2021-22 campaign.
During those outings he scored three goals and provided one assist.
In other news, an expert has suggested this may be real reason Alexandro Bernabei yet to make Celtic debut.
