Celtic have earmarked a deal to sign on-loan goalkeeper Scott Bain during the summer window, according to a report.
The Mail claim that the Scottish champions are very keen to snap up the 26-year-old when his contract expires at parent club Dundee.
It is said that Celtic will be able to land Bain under freed of contract.
The Scot made his Hoops debut and his first appearance since 28 October as 10-man Celtic twice came from behind to secure a memorable 3-2 win at Rangers earlier this month.
The keeper delivered a man of the match performance as made a string of outstanding saves from the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Josh Windass.
Bain subsequently revealed that he had only been told on the morning of the match that he would be starting after Dorus De Vries missed out due to injury as he joined first choice Craig Gordon on the sidelines.
Football Insider verdict:
Credit to Bain, he stood up to the pressure of the Ibrox bearpit and delivered the performance of his career. It was not just the saves from Morelos and Windass that stood out, but his composure in the face of a ferocious atmosphere. His catching and command of his box was also impressive. Watching Bain deliver the goods in the biggest domestic match of the season to date and it is difficult to see how Brendan Rodgers can axe him from the starting XI when De Vries and Gordon are fit. Given that he will be available on a free in the summer, he needs only to deliver a few more top-notch performances to secure the transfer of his dreams.
