Celtic expected 4-3-3 v Motherwell: Forgotten man set to make return in four changes
Goalkeeper and defenders
Craig Gordon (Goalkeeper) – Set to continue in goal, was a hero in last week’s Betfred Cup win after he pulled off a fantastic save to deny Louis Moult the equaliser for Motherwell.
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Was extremely unlucky not to score in last night’s game, has continued his good form, particularly the attacking side of his game which is first-rate.
Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – A mainstay of the side, will be needed to keep a close eye on Motherwell star striker Louis Moult and to be a threat at Celtic corners.
Erik Sviatchanko (Centre-back) – Will return to the side for the first time in a long time to replace Jozo Simunovic, not for inury reasons but because the Bosnian is in need of a rest.
Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – He will hope to make amends for the own goal he scored last night, set to keep his place at right-back unless he suffers an injury similar to the one he got against PSG.
