Celtic expected XI v Hamilton: Five changes as Rodgers rotates for midweek clash

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS

Dorus de Vries (Goalkeeper) – Deserves a game between the sticks following yet another erratic display by Craig Gordon against Hibs, showed his worth in a man of the match performance against Dundee earlier this season.

Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Could do with a rest but won’t get one, had a poor match against Hibs, Brendan Rodgers and the supporters will be hoping that was just a blip and he will get back to his best

Dedryck Boyata (Centre-half) – Could have been dropped but keeps his place as he’s fitter than Simunovic, needs to his improve his defending after a poor performance at Easter Road

Nir Bitton (Centre-half) – Back in the side at centre-half for the first time in a while, had some dodgy performances in this role in Europe but can handle the Scottish Premiership sides fairly easily.

Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Just like Tierney he needs a rest but probably won’t get one, preserved Celtic’s unbeaten run thanks to a goal-line clearance after another Gordon mistake
