Celtic fans amazed by what ‘special’ Callum McGregor did in win v Rangers

Celtic fans were amazed by Callum McGregor after his goal put the nail in Rangers’ coffin during the 3-0 Old Firm victory at Parkhead.

Brendan Rodgers’ side eased to a comfortable victory in the Glasgow derby thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi and McGregor – with the latter the pick of the bunch.

Having scored long-range efforts in wins against Hibernian and St Mirren already this season, the captain made it three in his last three league games.

Taking aim from around 25 yards, his strike from distance appeared to take a flick off of Dujon Sterling which sent it spinning into the side netting – and fans were left stunned.

McGregor’s impressive form from that sort of range has become a surprise feature of Celtic’s season and supporters are loving what they’ve seen.
