Celtic fans are all saying the same thing after Neil Lennon is sacked
Celtic fans are insisting Neil Lennon’s managerial career may be coming to an end after he was sacked by Romanian outfit Rapid Bucharest.
The boss’ dismissal was confirmed on 20 August after a string of disappointing displays which have seen the club slide to 12th in the league.
After finishing in sixth last time out, Lennon was backed to help steer the team further up the table, but recorded five draws and one defeat in his six games in charge.
Having taken over in May, the former Parkhead boss has lasted just over three months in the job, with his team the only one yet to record a league victory this season.
On top of this, a story emerged earlier this month about his alleged conduct in training which saw him labelled an “animal”.
As a result, Celtic supporters are suggesting their former boss may have to call it a day on his managerial career.
Celtic fans stunned as Neil Lennon sacked by Rapid Bucharest
Celtic fans still hold Lennon in high esteem after he led the club to win five SPFL titles, four Scottish Cups and a League Cup.
Some, meanwhile, remain critical of the former boss after he blew their latest chance at winning ten in a row when Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side pipped him to the title.
Despite his time at Celtic, many supporters are now insisting it is time to call an end to his career after his sacking in Romania.
Others, meanwhile, praised his short spell at Bucharest after claims he may have blocked a move for striker Albion Rrahmani to join Rangers this summer.
