Celtic fans blast Adam Idah after ‘horrible’ footage analysed
Celtic fans have blasted Adam Idah for an error he made in the second half of their victory over Dundee on Sunday (28 April).
The Republic of Ireland international sliced the ball into his own net on 74 minutes as he looked to clear it away from danger inside the six-yard box.
It wasn’t the contribution the 23-year-old, who is on loan from Norwich City, would have been looking to make after only coming on as a substitute for Kyogo Furuhashi 12 minutes earlier.
The ball appeared to be tamely travelling through to Joe Hart before the forward’s botched clearance gave his goalkeeper no chance.
Although it led to some nervy moments for the Hoops, it didn’t prevent them from picking up another big three points against Dundee, with James Forrest’s superb double earlier in the game ensuring they secured a 2-1 victory at Dens Park.
Celtic fans critical of Adam Idah role in Dundee goal
The Celtic fans certainly weren’t impressed by Idah’s contribution to the hosts’ goal as one supporter labelled it a “horrible” error.
