Celtic fans destroy ‘rotten’ Adam Idah after what they saw v St Mirren
Celtic fans have torn into Adam Idah after his “rotten” performance in the Scottish Premiership clash v St Mirren at Parkhead.
Brendan Rodgers’ side cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win at home after a brace from Nicolas Kuhn and a flicked header from Auston Trusty.
However, it was the Ireland international who attracted most of the attention from the home crowd after yet another disappointing display when chosen to lead the line.
Since making the permanent move to Glasgow from Norwich in the summer, the striker has scored just five league goals in 17 appearances – eight in 27 in all competitions.
After spending a huge £8.5million fee to secure his permanent signature after a successful loan spell in the second half of last season, fans expected to see a lot more from him.
However, the supporters’ frustrations about his performances are continuing to grow at Parkhead after yet another lacklustre display.
Idah’s speed and movement have been questioned, while he regularly fails to get himself into the right position to make the most of Celtic’s chances.

Moving to Parkhead with such a large price tag was always going to add pressure to Idah’s performances, but fans are now growing impatient with him.
Many are now demanding he step up in the coming weeks as Celtic look to further stamp their authority in both domestic competitions and the Champions League.
Taking to social media during the win against St Mirren, fans labelled the Irishman “miles off it” and “an absolute donkey” as they were left raging at his display.
