Celtic fans rage at Liam Scales after what he did vs Aberdeen

Celtic fans were furious with centre-back Liam Scales after his mistake that led to Aberdeen’s first goal in their 2-2 draw on Saturday (October 19).

Rather than committing to a challenge, the 26-year-old decided to stand off Aberdeen striker Ester Sokler getting caught out, allowing the Slovenian to pick his spot and make it 2-1.

Kyogo showed his composure after latching onto a hopeful ball from Arne Engels, taking a breath before expertly finding fellow Japan international Hatate, 26, who had made a fantastic late run.

Hatate slotted home to give the home side the lead before Kyogo got in on the action to make it 2-0 just ahead of the half-hour mark.

Sokler bagged their first with a well-placed finish from 18 yards just ten minutes before veteran midfielder Graeme Shinnie scored the equaliser.

Aberdeen striker Duk thought he scored a third for the visitors but after a VAR intervention it was ruled out for handball.
