Celtic fans react on Twitter to Dembele display against St Johnstone

Moussa Dembele scored a hat-trick coming on as a substitute for Celtic as they beat St Johnstone 5-2 on Sunday afternoon  – and fans on Twitter lauded their player.

The 20-year-old was brought on by manager Brendan Rodgers just before the hour mark with his team losing the Scottish Premiership encounter 2-1.

However, the highly-rated youngster changed the game and scored a penalty within two minutes of coming onto the field.

A further two goals were followed by Dembele, with winger Scott Sinclair also getting in on the act as the Bhoys maintained their 29 games unbeaten run in all domestic competitions.

Supporters on social media were in awe of Dembele and the talent he possesses at such a young age.

While another fan stated that with the Frenchman’s presence in the team, Rodgers side looked a completely different outfit.

Fans stated that Scottish football is seeing a special player as Dembele struck his 23rd goal of the season in all competitions during the SPL win.

Furthermore, the three points has also seen Celtic open the gap on second-placed Aberdeen to a mammoth 27 points.

Rodgers side now have 70 points from their 24 games as they have dropped points in the SPL on only one occasion this term.

Overall, fans applauded their player and the magnificent display he put in to help his team clinch another three points.
