Rangers fans react on Twitter to Eboue Celtic display against St Mirren
By Will Butcher
Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter after Kouassi Eboue belatedly made his Celtic debut against St. Mirren on Sunday.
Eboue, 19, came off the bench to make his first appearance in the green and white stripes of the 47-time Scottish champions during the 4-1 win against St. Mirren at Celtic Park.
The Ivorian was immediately in the thick of the action, with his first tackle as a Celtic player being a hugely robust one as he planted his studs high on Stelios Demetriou.
Brendan Rodgers’ side secured their place in the semi finals of the Scottish Cup with the win, thanks to goals from Mikael Lustig, Scott Sinclair, Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.
Rangers fans reacted amusingly on Twitter, while some Gers fans claimed Eboue’s tackle was worse than striker Joe Garner’s elbow on Saturday during the 6-0 win over Hamilton.

Midfielder Eboue joined Celtic at the start of 2017 from Russian side Krasnodar for £3million, as Rodgers looks to find a permanent central-midfield partner for captain Scott Brown.
Eboue could now feature against Rangers on Sunday in the fourth Old Firm encounter of the season, and have also drawn each other in the semi finals of the Scottish Cup.
