Celtic fans react on Twitter to Tierney display v Albion Rovers
By Harvey Byrne
Kieran Tierney played 60 minutes in his return to the Celtic team against Albion Rovers on Sunday – and Hoops fans were delighted with his comeback.
The 19-year-old full-back gave an impressive performance down the left flank and played an integral part in the Scottish giants’ 3-0 Scottish Cup victory.
The match was decided by a brilliant Scott Sinclair first half opener, while Moussa Dembele and Stuart Armstrong rounded up the scoring in the second half.
Tierney made impressive runs up the pitch and also battled strongly in defence and set-up Sinclair’s opener with a neat pass on the edge of the box.
Hoops fans were very much impressed with what they saw from the young left-back and many were keen to welcome him back on social media.

Tierney has played in 20 fixtures in all competitions this season.
However, a ruptured cruciate ligament inury has meant that he hasn’t featured in the Hoops’ side since a 1-0 victory over Rangers on 23 October.
He will now be keen to see more first team action for the top of the league side with St Johnstone coming up in the league next on Wednesday.
In other Celtic news, the Scottish champions have had a £1million bid rejected for this African goalscorer.
